Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Senior Civil/Structural Designer (KZ passport holders) to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations
Consequences of error would be identified by company QA and would be confined
Follows company procedures and established standards to prepare engineering deliverables from rough sketches
Utilizes skills in developing graphics utilizing computer design
Responsible for maintaining the standard of drawings produced
Carry out full yellow line checking of Civil/Structural drawings
Training and mentoring of less experienced Designers
Typical work scope for the Civil/Structural group includes: steel pipe-racks, and bridges, access stairs and platforms, buildings, reinforced concrete foundations and below ground structures, earthworks, roads, drainage, and occasional architectural work

Bachelor's degree
Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates
Be proficient in the use of CAD software
