YOUR NEW ROLE

Align information architecture target state and roadmap to NAB technology strategy and architectural principles/patterns
Establish the current state, target state architecture positions for information architecture. Ensure asset lifecycle is maintained for every component within the information domain boundary and interlinkages to application and integration domains
Make and document architectural decisions to satisfy regulatory and compliance requirements (APRA and other regulatory standards related to information architecture).
Uplift information architecture maturity and core capabilities by defining and embedding information architecture governance processes, standards, guidelines and patterns
Support embedding and operationalisation information architecture principles and standards across the architecture delivery lifecycle
Support architecture community understanding of the information architecture standards and principles through targeted training programs
Maintain data lineage currency and integrity using Collibra and other data lineage artefacts
The Architect defines the end to end data and / or information architecture to support the delivery of investment slate, guiding and influencing business delivery and ensuring alignment to target state technology

Target state architecture definition
Provides technical direction and leadership for the technology assets within the information architecture domain, across the data lifecycle, maintaining the target state information architecture and roadmap, informing the service backlog and sequencing.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

20+ Years experience in the Technology industry
Strong business acumen and engagement skills to influence data and information strategies to help shape, triage, prioritise business outcomes and develop roadmaps for information architecture and for the business unit/ domains.
Ability to maintain backlog of business outcomes portfolio view of the information architecture domain
Information architecture experience from conceptual, to logical and physical data modelling and linking of data models through to application and integration architecture domains
Understanding of data mastery architecture concepts and implementation principles across systems of record
Experience in architecting data ingestion, storage and reporting using modern data platforms such as Databricks
Understanding of data governance concepts and implementation of data lineage solutions such as Collibra
Experience in working in a scaled agile structure to help coordinate work in a persistent team of architects
Experience in defining and implementing data modelling standards and doing enterprise data modelling
