Mashreq has undertaken implementation of Oracle Platform OBLM, OBDX to GCC counties and International Banking locations. This job is being created to support this expansion and to reinforce the Subject Matter expertise of the new Oracle OBLM and OBDX platform within the bank. The person in the role will act as the Techno-Functional Expert across mentioned applications and contribute as required. The team member will have a range of responsibilities from analyzing the technical requirements, understanding of the infrastructure, performing product deployments to ensuring that we stay on the leading edge of technology. He/She will be expected to contribute across the full technology stack, front to back for the platform. He/ She will be required to be part of cross functional team and interact with Product Owner, Designers ,Engineers.
- Analyze System issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis and actively participate in decision for issues prioritization.
- Resolve the incidents and tickets assigned to the team. Interact with users to resolve the issues.
- Monitor the various jobs in EOD and BOD and perform sanity and monitor the transaction processing cutoff times.
- Monitor the alerts and escalate and resolve alerts raised by the tools.
- Support Infrastructure patching and manage the schedule.
- Candidate should be able to perform deployment, Measure impacts, gather issue Information and Coordinate with vendor on Issues/ Defect Resolution.
- Support all testing phases and relevant documents (Strategy, Scenarios, Test Data) -SIT, Regressions, Performance tuning and integrations.
- Should manage and Track System Performance, Participate technically and functionally in process optimization.
- Should be able to understand Business requirements and translate this to vendor specific documents.
- Coordinate product training for Business & Operations users
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science or Postgraduate
- 6+ years’ experience in experience with Banking technology having Corporate Banking implementation.
- Subject Matter expertise and hands on experience of corporate banking products
- Should have worked on the Product Designing and implementation with respect to Business requirements.
- Knowledge of Banking domain is a must
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Experience of working in large scale transformation Project – involving Process optimization and changes.
- Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation.
- Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach.
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to document integration and detailed design specs for large scale banking applications.
- Working knowledge and experience in designing distributed applications
