Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect to design, develop, and optimize our business intelligence ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable Power BI solutions, integrating multiple data sources, ensuring performance optimization, and guiding the BI strategy to support business decision-making.

• Architect, design, and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions including data modeling, dashboards, and reports.
  

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
  

• Design and optimize data models (Star Schema, Snowflake, Tabular models) for performance and usability.
  

• Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
  

• Define and enforce Power BI governance, security, and access control policies.
  

• Lead the migration of legacy reporting systems to Power BI.
  

• Ensure best practices in DAX, Power Query (M), Row-Level Security (RLS), and data visualization.
  

• Provide technical leadership and mentor developers and analysts in BI practices.
  

• Optimize dashboards and datasets for performance and scalability.
  

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Business Analysts to ensure a consistent data strategy.
  

• Proven experience as a Power BI Architect/Lead Developer with 7+ years in BI and at least 4+ years in Power BI.
  

• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
  

• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Synapse, Data Lake, and other data platforms.
  

• Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Logic Apps, Functions) for data integration and orchestration.
  

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and modern data architecture.
  

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
  

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate / Azure Data Engineer Associate / Azure Solutions Architect.
  

• Experience with Fabric / Lakehouse architecture is a plus.
  

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in a product-based or consulting environment.
  

• Exposure to AI integration within Power BI (Copilot, cognitive services) is desirable.
