Full Time

 Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identifications across field and office locations.
 Implement and monitor compliance with Nigerian HSE regulations.
 Deliver engaging HSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and farmer members.
 Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
 Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
 Act as a point of contact for safety-related queries, providing expert advice and guidance.
 Support emergency response planning and drills.
 Support Last Mile Logistics and Internal Auditing.
 Promote environmental responsibility in line with Babban Gona’s sustainability goals.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
 Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HSE roles, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or field operations.
 Strong knowledge of Nigerian HSE laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
 Recognized HSE Certification.
 Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
 Ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and write clear, actionable reports.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic understanding of HSE reporting tools.
 Fluent in English; Hausa language skills are an advantage.
 Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
