We are seeking an innovative and experienced Sous Chef to deliver a memorable experience by building great culinary moments for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Our Sous Chef is responsible for the creating and the presentation of all meals. As a Sous Chef, you will assist our Executive Chef with menu planning, ordering goods and with other Senior Chefs and our Food Quality Manager, to ensure that the work methods are safe and best practice are maintained in line with Food Safety Management standards, encourage team work and camaraderie.
The Sous Chef together with other Senior Chefs will develop innovative contemporary Menus that resonate with each unique Outlet, crafting an experience for guests to remember. Our contemporary menus celebrate premium ingredients and deliver on trend culinary experiences that elevate every guest’s experience.
About You
Our Sous Chef will be an innovator and true Artisan, you will have proven experience in high end, high volume culinary environments at a luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, private dining or premium Cafés. You’re proven experience leading teams to meet a high level of excellence across food quality and innovation will be the key to your success in this role.

- Passion for the craft and Industry
- Sound knowledge of the latest trends and Artisan experience in the industry
- Proved experience delivering bespoke menus and amenities.
- Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality experience
- Proven ability to work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Creative, eye for Detail and a Flair for Presentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound business acumen and previous experience ordering stock using an online ordering system
- Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
- Previous experience in luxury hotels or a Michelin Star restaurant environment, highly desirable
- Australian work rights
