About the Team
The Consumer and Business Communications team works to showcase how TikTok is a global platform for discovery that empowers our community to shape culture, spark creativity, and bring joy to audiences around the world. The Communications Manager, Global Partnerships is a high-impact role instrumental in developing and driving initiatives that help brands and organizations unlock the potential of TikTok and engage meaningfully with our community both in the US and globally.
In this role, you will lead the development of global communications strategies that elevate TikTok’s partnerships with leading organizations across Entertainment, Sports, and Lifestyle. You will collaborate with regional teams to adapt strategy and messaging for their markets while also executing this strategy in the US, working closely with cross-functional teams as their main point of contact to provide regular counsel and guidance. You have experience working with spokespeople, and are able to craft targeted media strategies, narratives and messaging for B2B and consumer audiences that advance TikTok’s business priorities and strengthen our brand and positioning in both the US and globally.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive global communications strategies for TikTok's partnerships, including planning, messaging, media relations, and thought leadership.
- Build awareness of global and US partnerships through media and industry‑facing initiatives that articulate our mission, values, technology, events.
- Create launch materials and assets including TikTok Newsroom posts, media pitches, FAQs that amplify global partnerships; collaborate with regional teams to adapt for their markets while leading execution in the US.
- Work with regional and global teams to develop, shape and scale clear narratives around our partners and the broader impact they have on our business. Align messaging with go-to-market and product strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop joint launch materials and media strategies for key partnership announcements and evergreen storytelling opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal partners and senior leaders across Content, Distribution, Agency & Accounts and Business Development teams; cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and provide regular communications counsel.
- Prepare, train and advise spokespeople for media interviews, industry events and external presentations. Vet and manage opportunities from end to end.
- Manage inbound media inquiries on a range of issues while proactively fostering relationships with key B2B, consumer, trade and technology press.
- Monitor media/industry trends and coverage, extract actionable insights, and refine communications strategies to enhance messaging, impact and measurable results.
