We are seeking an experienced Partner Education and Training Analyst to join our team, providing direct support in the area of NATO military partnerships. This role will contribute to shaping policies, strengthening partner engagement, and advancing capability development in alignment with NATO’s strategic priorities. Travel may be required.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Serve as liaison between NATO Education and Training Facilities (NETFs) and Partner Education and Training Facilities (ETFs)
- Support certification and accreditation of Partner ETFs
- Assist SHAPE PD in programming Partner Education, Training, Exercise, and Evaluation (ETEE) activities
- Conduct front-end analysis of training solutions and assess COE/PTEC opportunities supporting MCCB
- Advise Partners on training strategies; act as ACT POC for PCM, ePRIME, and eITEP
- Support SHAPE PD with MCCB-related course assessments and the Seat Allocation Process
- Serve as Integrated Security Discipline POC
- Develop and deliver briefings to senior officers and decision makers
- Contribute to policy, directives, and process refinement
- Travel up to 30 days per year within and outside NATO boundaries
Requirements
Experience:
- Graduate of a NATO or national military staff college (OF-5 level or higher)
- 10+ years’ experience working within NATO Enterprise (preferred), or other International Organization in a defense/security-related position, or within a national mission, delegation, or embassy to an IO
- 10+ years’ demonstrated working knowledge of NATO Partnerships, defense/security capacity building, defense planning, or military capability development/operations research
- US or NATO citizen with valid US or NATO member country passport
Desired:
- Familiarity with military rank/grade structures
- Knowledge of military terminology
Education:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in international relations, international security, international development, military studies, foreign policy, public affairs, political science, or related discipline
- 10+ years’ experience in foreign/international security, international cooperation, defense, or military affairs may be an acceptable substitute
Security Clearance:
- Possess current SECRET Security Clearance
