The Role

As the Delivery Manager at BRIGHTSCOUT, you will lead and support our Project Management team, ensuring excellence in project delivery, team development, and client satisfaction. Working closely with Project Managers, you'll uphold BRIGHTSCOUT’s standards of quality and timeliness while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across the team.

This role blends strategic oversight, process optimization, and hands-on mentorship—with the flexibility to step in as a Project Manager when needed. You'll play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and scaling the team’s capabilities as we grow.

This is a people-leadership role with direct reports; you’ll be responsible for their performance, engagement, and professional development, including conducting reviews and driving career growth initiatives.

As BRIGHTSCOUT continues to scale, this role is tentatively expected to evolve into ownership of Delivery, acting as the liaison across all teams—Project Management, Development, Design, and Strategy.

Responsibilities

Project Quality & Delivery

Manage and oversee project planning, scopes, and deliverables to ensure alignment with client goals and business objectives.
Oversee active projects to ensure deliverables consistently meet BRIGHTSCOUT’s quality standards and client expectations.
Implement and evolve scalable frameworks and quality assurance processes across the PM discipline.
Guide Project Managers in best practices for documentation, timeline management, and resource planning.
Step in as Project Manager during team absences to ensure project continuity and client satisfaction.

Client Relations & Risk Management

Lead the communication strategy across projects to ensure transparency, trust, and client satisfaction.
Monitor scopes and Statements of Work to prevent scope creep and protect project margins.
Drive proactive risk management—identifying challenges early, implementing solutions, and managing escalations when necessary.
Strengthen long-term client relationships through strategic oversight and consistent delivery excellence.

Team Leadership & Strategic Support

Lead the Project Management team with full responsibility for performance, development, and retention.
Begin to manage organizational aspects of the Development team, with a focus on collaboration, resourcing, and team health.
Conduct regular one-on-ones, deliver constructive feedback, and complete formal performance evaluations.
Develop and track ongoing training programs to foster continuous growth of project management capabilities.
Mentor Project Managers, guiding their professional development and supporting them through complex project challenges.
Facilitate weekly check-ins and status meetings to surface risks, ensure alignment, and drive accountability.
Collaborate with department leads to align project goals with broader business strategy.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and successful integration of new Project Managers as the team expands.

Requirements

8+ years of project management experience in digital, branding, or development agencies.
Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex, high-stakes projects.
Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand engineering workflows, communicate effectively with developers, and support the management of technical teams.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, design, and development.
PMP or similar certification is a plus.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft and Google Suite, Notion, Jira, Asana, Toggl, Github, Vercel, and Slack.
Strong technical and creative sensibility, with the ability to speak both development and design.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure.
Empathetic leadership style with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
