Graphic Design Associate (4 month term)

Scope Of Position

As a Graphic Design Associate you will work in a collaborative and entrepreneurial team environment. You will help craft design solutions that support the brand strategy and business objectives. The role is a hybrid of design and content creation and assists in creating the visual expression of how the brand comes to life across various touchpoints; in-branch, digital and social.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of marketing materials including branch brochures and media screens, statement and mobile app marketing messages, promotional assets for community events, social media graphics and email banners.
• Recommend, edit and optimize images for web, social, and print.
• Help maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels and platforms.
• Organize and archive creative assets in shared folders or design libraries.

Qualifications Education / Certifications / Experience

• Minimum 1 completed year of university or college visual and creative arts program

Knowledge / Skills

• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Understanding of design principles including layout, color theory, and typography.
