Conduct in-depth market evaluations to identify new pharmaceutical intermediates aligned with our strategic portfolio

Analyze synthetic routes and identify key strategic intermediates to support product development

Identify, engage, and develop new international customer relationships to grow Midas’s intermediates business

Promote Midas’s products and services to prospective clients, leveraging the support of affiliated companies

Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships

Collaborate with external R&D and technical teams to align customer needs with product capabilities

Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategy

Represent Midas at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and build partnerships

Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and strategic input to Management

Contribute to the strategic direction and growth objectives of the division through market insights and business intelligence

Master’s degree in Chemistry; a background in Economic Chemistry is highly desirable

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, with a proven track record in sales or business development

Strong industry network within the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in intermediates and APIs

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-motivated approach to business development

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities

Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus

Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25%)
