What We’re Looking For:

The Barback plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient bar operations by maintaining a well-stocked and organized bar area. This position provides essential support to bartenders during high-volume periods, helping to ensure the bar runs smoothly and guests receive exceptional service. A successful Barback is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong reliability and punctuality to ensure that bartenders have the support they need.

  • Strong focus on providing outstanding service to guests and enhancing their experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Replenish and restock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies throughout the shift.

  • Assist bartenders with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after shifts or events.

  • Prepare garnishes such as lemon, lime, and orange wedges, as well as other drink essentials like cherries and olives.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by washing and drying glassware, wiping down bar surfaces, and removing trash regularly.

  • Keep the bar organized, ensuring that all tools, equipment, and supplies are easily accessible to bartenders.

  • Clear dirty glasses and empty drinkware from guest tables and bar counters.

  • Monitor bar stock levels and alert bartenders or management when supplies are running low.

  • Provide polite and friendly service to customers, such as assisting with basic requests or answering questions.

  • Ensure that customers’ needs are met by keeping bartenders supported and the bar running efficiently.

  • Work closely with bartenders, servers, and bar managers to ensure the smooth flow of service during busy periods.

  • Support bartenders by helping prepare and run drink orders during peak hours, ensuring a timely delivery of beverages.

  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for beverage handling and bar cleanliness.

  • Ensure compliance with alcohol laws and regulations, such as checking that all drink orders are handled responsibly.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Your Qualifications Include:

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred. 

  • Ability to lift/pull/push 75 plus pounds.

  • This position requires continual bending, lifting, carrying and stooping.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

  • Must be flexible to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
