We are looking to add an Associate Director of Media Technology & Global Site Tagging. You will play a managerial role with a strong understanding of digital technologies and media. This position is responsible for overseeing global tagging and data collection efforts to support media reporting and retargeting initiatives for clients. The AD builds and maintains senior-level relationships across the agency and with clients, and drives innovation through the development of solutions that improve operational performance and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Media Reporting Enablement via Tagging
Lead and manage tagging and activity tracking for approximately 100 client websites and microsites.
Oversee the development and implementation of tagging automation solutions, including custom scripts and web-based tools.
Team Development & Training
Ensure timely and accurate completion of tagging and audience-related deliverables across the team.
Mentor team members to build technical proficiency and confidence in their respective areas of responsibility.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the main point of contact for senior client stakeholders regarding tagging and technical enablement.
Translate client needs into actionable plans and ensure internal teams deliver on expectations.
Set and manage client expectations around technical feasibility, timelines, and outcomes.
Proactively identify opportunities to expand the agency's value to clients through new tools.
Maintain a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and strategic thinking in all client communications.
Strategic Leadership
Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation related to tagging, tracking, and audience strategies.
Solve problems with a focus on long-term solutions, not quick fixes.
Ensure the team is fully trained on internal processes, best practices, and Carat Media tools.
Provide guidance on core media platforms such as Google Campaign Manager.
Communication & Collaboration
Foster open and consistent internal communication.
Establish structured communication processes with clients, analytics, ad ops, and digital teams.
Develop and deliver clear, persuasive client presentations and other key communications.
Tailor messaging to different audiences, aligning content with their needs and perspectives.
Influence stakeholders through clear, confident communication.
Share key company information effectively with clients and internal teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus
7+ years experience
Experience managing a team of people & both large- scale and smaller initiatives
Proficient in MS office suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
The annual salary range for this position is 70K- 105K. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
