BBST - BrazilBoeing Brazil is seeking an Mid-Career Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer, reporting to the Propulsion Structures Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office.
The Mid-Career Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer will join Boeing Commercial Aircraft Structure team who provide support for the primary and secondary structure of the 7 series Boeing Fleets.
Position Responsibilities:
• Guide development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.
• Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
• Guides development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements. Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
Relevant experience with structural engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- Experience in structural analysis methods and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method).
- Experience in design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.
- Experience in durability and damage tolerance analysis.
- Experience in compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA).
- Experience in Fleet Support and Repair’s design and substantiation.
