At ASML, data is a strategic asset—and managing it well is key to our continued success. As a Data Governance Consultant in the Chief Data Office (CDO), you’ll lead the transformation toward trustworthy, well-managed data across the organization. You’ll work with stakeholders from business, IT, and process domains to shape and implement scalable data governance practices that support ASML’s growth and innovation.

Role and responsibilities

You’ll be a driving force behind ASML’s data governance maturity, helping the business move toward consistent, compliant, and high-quality data.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead change activities to mature ASML’s data governance capabilities.
Identify critical data assets and ensure business ownership and accountability.
Drive compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across data domains.
Participate in strategic initiatives where data governance is a key enabler.
Develop and implement communication strategies, education programs, and process templates.
Act as an ambassador for data awareness and cultural change across ASML.
Prepare and support cross-ASML governance bodies with senior stakeholders.
Build strong relationships and gain commitment through effective communication and stakeholder management.

Education and experience

Academic degree (or experienced Bachelor) in Business Administration, Business Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics, or a related field.
9+ years of relevant experience, preferably in strategy consulting or large-scale transformation programs.
Proven experience in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality Management.
Familiarity with data architectures and technologies; hands-on experience with data is a strong plus.

Other information

This role is part of the Data Governance & Metadata Management team within the Chief Data Office. You’ll collaborate closely with data architects, business stakeholders, and domain experts across ASML to implement scalable and sustainable data governance solutions.
