The Role

Kyndryl is looking to hire a strategic and dynamic Senior Lead Compensation to support our Practices and Consult businesses as well as our Core Markets and Shared Services. The Senior Lead will play a key role in supporting the evolution of our compensation programs to ensure we can attract, retain, and inspire top talent in the fast-paced technology industry. This role will be hands-on in implementing transformative compensation programs and designing efficient processes to support them. Key responsibilities include:

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Execute Employee compensation strategy based on global compensation and business strategy and facilitate the global compensation programs roll-out at market/country level.

  • Be a trusted partner and consult with HR Partners and senior business managers on pay decisions and related challenges and provide strategic and operational guidance and direction.

  • Serve as an advocate of the Total Rewards philosophy. Own local Compensation programs to align with the corporate and market/country strategy.

  • Provide analytical insights to business and leadership related to compensation and assist them in decision making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HR Tech, CIO, Finance, Payroll, Legal, ER/LR,. to drive the execution efficiency and ensure seamless employee/manager experience.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve, digitize & automate compensation processes.

  • Ensure compliance of compensation policies with local regulatory requirements

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in HR preferably in Compensation with a thorough understanding of Employee Compensation.

  • Proficiency in communicating complicated concepts to a broad audience.

  • Familiar with Compensation Benchmarking Surveys and tools used

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. ability to write complex dynamic formulas, charts, and dashboards)

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain discretion with extremely confidential information.

  • Ability to build trust-based relationships HR Partners and management.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills

  • Ability to build a story with data to support business decisions and recommendations.

  • Fluent (written and spoken) in English.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $96,480 to $183,240 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience.  For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $106,080 to $219,840

Colorado: $86,480 to $183,240 

New York City: $115,680 to $219,840 

Washington: $106,080 to $201,480

Washington DC: $106,080 to $201,480

  

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
