Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Drives partnership within the business unit and with corporate, collaborate cross-functionally with key functional leaders driving achievement of KPI's.
• Analyzes business unit revenues, costs and operating expenses and drives understanding of business performance, variance drivers as well as risks & opportunities.
• Generates monthly financial analysis and reports, financial statements and forecasts.
• Proactively leads & participates in improving existing processes within finance and the business unit.
• Performs various high-level ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
• Completes monthly and quarterly detailed analysis of transaction level data; synthesizing findings into relevant trends and assisting in the construction and implementation of solutions that drive cost optimization.
• Work with Operations to understand task times, sitting in with various team members to gather insights about the process that goes into their activities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or Economics. Master’s degree and/or relevant professional qualification such as CMA/CPA preferred.

Work Experienced:

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance field, preferably with exposures in budgeting/forecasting, commercial/ops area.

Skills Required:

• Experience with Excel strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of financial & accounting concepts i.e. P&L, B/S, cashflows
• Strong analytical, excel and interpersonal/business-partnering skills highly preferred
• Have a can-do attitude, big picture orientation with attention to details and growth mindset
