Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Performs Quality assessments to ensure alignment of business unit or location with the , internal policies and procedures, applicable regulations and industry or practice standards.

  • Generates documentation including but not limited to: plan, checklist, agenda, summation, and report(s).

  • Provides recommendations and data required for development of an annual risk-based internal assessment schedule.

  • Provides consultation on corrective and preventive actions performed as a result of internal observations; follows-up and provides data required to determine the timeliness and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions performed.

  • Follows-up and provides data required for key performance metrics related to assessment performance, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program and continuous quality improvement.

  • Recommends organizational process improvement initiatives based on assessment observations and CAPA data analysis.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of presentation materials.

  • Follows-up and provides data required for data trending and analysis to monitor and report on the effectiveness of enterprise Quality program.

  • Participates in compliance training or awareness activities as directed

  • Evaluates the efficacy of completed CAPA plans.

  • Ensures requested timelines are documented and met.

  • Creates succession plans for key management team members; recruits, trains and develops senior leaders; provides leadership to team and participates as facilitator for learning programs

  • Must be willing to travel extensively

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred

Certificates:

  • Current ISO 9001;2015, or other Quality Auditing or Quality Management Certifications preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years related audit experience or formal investigation/problem-solving experience in a specialty pharmacy industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory concepts as they relate to specialty services Home Health, Pharmacy, distribution, manufacturing and Coordination of Care and medication support services)

  • Mathematical competence to calculate compliance rates. Ability to analyze data to create, charts, graphs, and table to represent results of audits/outcomes. Competency in formal problem-solving techniques.

  • Strong understanding of Six Sigma and/or Lean methodology.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office software suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Preferred understanding of FDA regulations 21 CFR Part 11, 21 CFR Part 208, 21 CFR Part 600.80, 21 CFR Part 314.80, 21 CFR Part 312.33, and 21 CFR Part 50, USP 797, TX/CA/CO/MD/PA Home Health standards, Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations for all 50 States

  • Skilled in problem solving and critical analysis

  • Skilled in developing and delivering presentations.

  • Skilled in building organizational relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
