Major Accountabilities:
- Assume full responsibility for the stockroom to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the store's commercial success
- Implement and enforce company rules and procedures for maintaining a well-organized and efficient stockroom
- Make informed decisions that align with store turnover, considering customer profiles and commercial goals
- Monitor and analyse stockroom performance, proposing improvements and addressing concerns as needed
- Allocate resources effectively to drive productivity in the stockroom
- Collaborate with senior management and the visual merchandising team to maintain a trend-focused and brand-relevant stockroom
- Lead recruitment, induction, training, and development of stockroom team members, ensuring adherence to HR policies
- Report directly to Store Manager to manage loss prevention effectively
- Provide feedback on operational performance and suggest improvements during regular catch-ups with senior management
- Collaborate with external business partners to ensure a safe and compliant working environment
- Part of the senior team to carry store responsibilities such open/close, store emergency evacuation and any others duties required by the management team.
Requirements For Success:
- Team Player
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management position, preferably within a retail stockroom
- Ability to lead and coach a team
- Knowledge of retail KPIs
- Previous experience in retail desirable
- Demonstrate customer service skills
- A passion for retail operations
- Desire to learn
- Ability to perform basic maths and general retail operational processes
- Understanding of POS register systems
- Effective communication skills
