Under the guidance of the Dean, the Registrar & Bursar is responsible for student registration and collection of tuition and fees for. a the College of Nursing and the Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing. Responsible for assiting in the admission process, the tracking of student status, and the compilation and maintenance of student records in accordance with FERPA. Responds to transcript requests. Participates in assigned committees.
na Qualifications EDUCATION:
Minimum:
• AAS degree in relevant field.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
LICENSE:
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
• Three to five years' administrative experience (i.e executive assistant administrative coordinator, etc.) required.
Preferred:
• Previous experience working as a registrar in an academic setting and/or prior coordinator experience.
• Previous experience with Title IX.
SKILLS:
Minimum:
• Must be able to work independently, and handle multi-task responsiblities.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy.
Preferred:
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and powerpoint.
