Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience at a major management consulting firm in a consultative sales role where business value and technology solutions intersect
- Over 10 years experience in shaping and delivering large, complex Infrastructure Transformation and Managed Services Opportunities
- Proven ability to lead strategic transformation initiatives that span technology domains, infrastructure and application layers
- Experience in presenting Board Level proposals to get executive buy-in and investments to transact large opportunities
- Proven track record in creating and closing opportunities in areas focused across Strategy, Technology, Cloud, Digital, Security, AI, Analytics, Enterprise Architecture across multiple functions and industries
- Experience identifying, managing and eliminating risk for complex solutions
- Knowledge of multiple technology disciplines and skills to propose immediate solutions and provide guidance for enhancements based on recent trends
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and associated metrics
- Proven track record designing, modeling, and structuring deals utilizing various commercial models across consulting and managed services
- High proficiency at collaborating, managing conflicting interests, and dealing with ambiguity
- Strong communication skills: able to create compelling presentations to support concepts and solutions, write effective emails, and persuasively discuss strategy with senior executives
- Strong leadership qualities: able to have "presence" in senior exec client settings; capable of gaining the trust of customers; able to lead WWT team within the account
- Intellectually curious: the desire to understand constantly evolving technology solutions and how they connect to business and IT outcomes
- Assertive, collaborative, self-starter with emotional intelligence as well as the capacity to learn and synthesize new information in order to provide customers and the WWT account team with useful insights
- Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Self-directed, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $185,000 - $215,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Position Overview:
As a Complex Deals Architect, you will be responsible for providing leadership and solutions shaping on large, complex and strategic opportunities that span the full technology stack – from data center modernization to network architectures to cloud native platforms, and digital transformation – underpinned and built leveraging security by design principles and automation. You will identify, shape, and close new business opportunities by leveraging competitive intelligence, business requirements, cost estimates, and solution options across business and technology services and industries. This role is ideal for a technologist with deep advisory and consulting experience coupled with multi-domain fluency.
Key Responsibilities:
Maximize Account Engagement
- Partner with WWT account teams and sales organizations to qualify and close opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor to CxO and VP-level leaders across business and IT in pre-sales efforts
- Create and iterate on solutions across multiple Solution areas that leverage the best of WWT and meet our client's business objectives
- Architect scalable, secure, and performant solutions that align with enterprise modernization goals
- Lead cross functional teams in the development of business-relevant solutions for our customers and partners
- Enhance and develop solution management processes with an emphasis on establishing and tracking success factors that maximize gross profit for the organization
- Help formulate the overall solution strategies and roadmaps
Collaborate and Consult
- Provide solution portfolio insights to drive new opportunity discovery and best practice adoption at scale
- Work collaboratively with sales and services counterparts to test and evolve specific solutions
- Handle escalations and conflict between solution area priorities and approach
- Partner with Solution Services Operations to create or improve existing governance standards, policies and processes for solutions development
- Develop and track solution adoption specific KPIs for both operational and behavioral success criteria
- Advise/Consult other solution areas on market
- Translate business outcomes into technical delivery strategies
Proposals and Modeling
- Lead multi-domain assessments (data center, network, cloud, security, digital, automation) to define current and target states
- Develop and iterate solution architectures, implementation approaches, and delivery governance models
- Create cost estimates and financial models
- Create compelling proposals that highlight Executive Summaries and overall solutions to deliver value to our clients
- Provide escalation support and thought leadership across solution verticals
