Role Purpose:

As a (Junior) Research Analyst in the Belgian and Luxembourg Research team, headquartered in Brussels, you will support the collection and analysis of market data across the retail, office, logistics and living real estate sectors. You will assist in preparing reports, presentations and internal tools that drive strategic decisions and client engagement. This is an ideal role for an early-career professional with a strong affinity for commercial real estate and who wants to kick-off their career within the sector and/or within data analysis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write (quarterly) market reports, articles and (blog) posts on real estate trends.
  • Collect, analyze and interpret data on transactions, developments and market activity.
  • Maintain and improve structured internal databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting.
  • Generate charts, tables and maps for internal stakeholders and client-facing materials.
  • Prepare and present market slide decks for clients, team meetings and pitch support.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams, the EMEA Research network and BI/data colleagues to enhance data collection and insights.
  • Use Excel, Power BI or similar tools for data analysis and visualization, identifying relevant trends and patterns.


Knowledge & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Real Estate, Business, Geography, Data Science or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas), Word and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Clear and concise writing skills in business English; with proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in or willingness to learn tools such as Power BI, Python or GIS.
  • Curious about real estate markets, macroeconomic trends and data-driven insights.
