Technical Services Representative

Purpose:

The Technical Service Rep (TSR) will be responsible for assisting customers and sails with waste pricing and profiling. The TSSR will understand and help to communicate sub part B facility strengths capabilities and permit restrictions to consumers.

 

Specific Duties:

• Responsible for engaging with customers regarding technical profiling questions and specific facility acceptance criteria.
• Serve as an intermediary between the customer and the profiling team in order to help streamline the profiling process.
• Create Profiles.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly.
• Work with facility personnel to maximize customer understanding of facility capabilities.
• Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental, health, & safety (EHS), human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Position Qualification Requirements:

Core Competencies and Specific Skills:

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments.
• Ability to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, hoses, all truck equipment, etc.

 

Work Experience:

• Profiling experience preferred
• Part B permit and operations experience preferred
• Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must have or be qualified to obtain and maintain a Driver’s License

 

Personal Protective Equipment*:

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include a respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hats

 

Physical Requirements*:

• All applicants must pass the pre-employment physical including drug & alcohol screening

 

Work Environment:

Work from home with occasional travel
