Interior Designer

Position Summary: Senior Interior Designer responsible of Design and develop Concepts with shoots and full interior design package including working drawing to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting decorative items, all while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Designs interior spaces, including permanent architectural details and temporary elements 
2. Assesses and meets client requirements and desires through regular meetings 
3. Produces sketches, drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using computer-aided design programs (CAD) and hand-drawing skills 
4. Creates idea boards to communicate design concepts to clients 
5. Selects design strategies and color palettes to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environments 
6. Enhances and improves interior spaces' functionality by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings, artwork, and decor 
7. Creates project budgets, including materials and labor 
8. Establishes project timelines and coordinates work activity, vendor involvement, and outside contractors as necessary 
9. Negotiates pricing for materials 
10. Maintains relationships with vendors and outside contractors 
11. Participates in regular networking opportunities and actively develops a client base 
12. Performs research and maintains a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds 
13. Adheres to national and local building and safety codes with every design element 
14. Reads and interprets blueprints 
15. Works closely with various colleagues, including architects, artists, contractors, painters, upholsterers, and building inspectors

• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyse problems and strategies for better solutions.
• Understanding of building codes and inspection regulations related to interior

• Work to strict deadlines

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
