Regional Sales Executive, Bay Area
Milestone Systems, a global leader in Video Management Software (VMS), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Executive, Bay area to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building lasting partnerships, and delivering cutting-edge solutions to security and surveillance industry clients. This remote position covers AK, WA, MT, HI, ID, UT, OR, NV, and CA.
Success in this position requires a proactive approach to prospecting, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate and detailed records in Salesforce. As a Regional Sales Executive, you will work alongside smart and friendly colleagues focused on ensuring the success of our sales efforts. The team fosters a culture of camaraderie, where everyone is encouraged to share ideas, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate each other's achievements.
The ideal candidate must reside in the territory with a preference for people in Oregon, Washington, and California. The position reports to the Area Sales Manager, West.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, research, and engage prospective clients in the Video Management Software space through cold calls, emails, networking, and industry events.
- Pipeline Development: Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline using Salesforce, ensuring all activities, leads, and opportunities are meticulously documented and updated.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with key decision-makers to understand their needs and deliver customized VMS solutions.
- Closing Sales: Lead the entire sales cycle, from first contact to deal closure, consistently achieving or surpassing sales goals.
- Market Expertise: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to position Milestone Systems as a trusted industry partner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure seamless service delivery and drive client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Video Management Software or related technology sectors is highly desirable.
- Sales Excellence: A proven track record in a new business development or hunter role, with 5 years of experience achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- CRM Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce, with a strong focus on maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to present, negotiate, and close with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-Motivated: Results-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently to achieve ambitious objectives.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with VMS, security systems, and surveillance technologies is a strong advantage.
