Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: North MOB – OB/GYN

Position Summary:
This role is responsible for facilitating patient flow from entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. The individual will gather essential financial and demographic information to ensure accurate records that support optimal reimbursement and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments and conduct interviews to collect necessary medical information.

• Explain departmental and hospital charges and policies to patients.

• Validate and enter charges into appropriate systems.

• Collect payments as needed.

• Answer incoming calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Preferred experience in a healthcare setting.

• Ability to learn and retain medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) is preferred.

• Ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology is a plus.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
