Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistants (MA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) team! Here's what you can expect: Fast paced department delivering high quality care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals. Ensure a positive and efficient experience for all patients. Assisting in treatment planning, documentation, and patient education.
You would be collaborating with a dedicated team of 15 nurses, many of whom bring over 10 years of expertise in the field.
Otolaryngology encompasses a broad range of ear, nose, and throat conditions. As a healthcare professional, the role involves supporting clinicians in various aspects of patient care, including assisting with patient evaluations, performing in-clinic procedures, providing patient education, and much more.
Position Summary:
Provides practical nursing care to patients in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and PNHS policy. Provides safe and effective nursing care by promoting a safe, therapeutic environment and by advocating for the best interests of individual patients. Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.
Work Schedule:
Fulltime 1.0 FTE. Monday - Friday Clinic. Days
Required Qualifications:
We are open to filling this position with an LPN, MA or EMT. Requirements for each are outlined below:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current MN EMT License. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
