We're seeking a talented Social Media Assistant to help amplify and transform compelling long-form content across multiple social media platforms. You'll play a pivotal role in taking existing YouTube videos and newsletter content and creatively repurposing them into engaging, platform-specific formats that capture attention and drive engagement. This role combines creative content creation with authentic community building, allowing you to showcase your design skills while building genuine connections with an engaged audience. You'll have the creative freedom to develop content that maintains the authentic voice of a personal brand while optimizing for each platform's unique requirements and audience preferences.


Responsibilities

  • Transform long-form YouTube and newsletter content into compelling Instagram reels, carousels, and stories that capture the essence of the original material
  • Design eye-catching infographics and create engaging short-form text posts optimized for Twitter's fast-paced environment
  • Develop medium-form content and professional infographics specifically tailored for LinkedIn's business-focused audience
  • Respond to incoming messages and comments across all platforms with authentic, engaging communication that reflects the brand's personality
  • Proactively identify and connect with potential community members who follow similar creators or demonstrate interest in related topics
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and personality across all social media interactions while adapting tone for each platform's unique culture
  • Monitor engagement patterns and optimize content timing for maximum reach and authentic connection

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on social media management and content creation experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work
  • Proven graphic design skills with proficiency in creating visually appealing infographics, carousels, and social media graphics
  • Excellent English communication skills with the ability to write in a casual, fun, and engaging tone that feels authentic and personable
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific content requirements for Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, including optimal formats and engagement strategies
  • Experience working with personal brands and understanding the nuances of authentic, non-corporate communication styles
  • Strong ability to capture and maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting content for different social media platforms
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and ability to work independently in a flexible, results-oriented environment
