Telemetry Technician at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. Full-Time and part-time positions are available and will work 12-hour Night shifts.

Performs cardiac telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia detection through continuous observation of the Central Monitoring system as a primary job responsibility and performs department clerical duties as a collateral responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Recognition Course.
Required to either have completed the “Basic Arrythmia” course or have demonstrated experience in rhythm interpretation.
Will require applicants to complete ECG test prior to job offer being extended.
Will be enrolled in an internally-developed online course as part of orientation.
Will have periodic competency assessment.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED
Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course.
Six (6) months experience in a hospital environment.
