The Texas Department of Criminal Justice requires the services of a Program Manager III for the CAPPS Financials and Human Resources implementation project. This position will be dedicated to this project.
Must be adept at the development of schedule, cost, and risk management strategies.
Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team, using collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment.
Must possess the ability to manage project activities; to establish project goals and objectives; to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues; to identify project risks and gaps; manage multiple work streams; to communicate effectively.
Must be able to work off-hours at different phases of the project. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (minimum of four tools).
Duties include:
- Directing the activities of resources in line with the business objectives of the project.
- Ensuring quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services.
- Establishing and maintaining quality metrics and guidelines.
