Sr. PL/SQL Developer - Pune

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team for a client project at MasterCard. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, strong PL/SQL development skills, and hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL code and database objects (procedures, triggers, packages).
  
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure high performance.
  
• Collaborate with application development teams to integrate and support database functionalities.
  
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  
• Design and implement database solutions ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  
• Contribute to strategies involving data partitioning, archiving, and application maturity models.
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including database schemas, processes, and procedures.
  
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with security and quality standards.
  

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development.
  
• Good understanding of Oracle database architecture and data modeling concepts.
  
• Proficiency in tools like SQL Developer or PL/SQL Developer.
  
• Solid experience in performance tuning and database optimization.
  
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Java development.
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
