The candidate will be part of the People Analytics team and will be expected to build an understanding of KGS people’s metrics around headcount, attrition, projection, compensation and learning among other HR metrics. The role involves generating and delivering various levels of MIS reports, interpreting patterns, creating insightful dashboards and analytical reports.

This role requires close collaboration with HRBPs to understand business requirements, provide analytical, and compensation and bonus related support. The candidate will also engage with HR colleagues to manage ongoing support.

Data Analytics & Visualization is a core aspect of the role. The candidate should be proficient in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data and turning them into meaningful and actionable insights. Candidate must be capable of identifying trends and patterns in complex datasets and presenting findings.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities
  • Independently deliver a range of People Analytics reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency through robust quality control methods.
  • Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources, transforming it into meaningful analyses, reports, dashboards, presentations, and tools
  • Build strong working relationships with peers and stakeholders by proactively understanding and anticipating business needs
  • Clearly understand the work expectation, timelines, efforts, and ability to work well under pressure with high attention to details 
  • Maintain and regularly update key HR databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Prepare executive-level reports that communicate trends, patterns, and forecasts using relevant KGS financial and HR data, supported by industry’s best practices
  • Will support during the year-end cycle such as compensation stimulation and bonus collection exercise. 
  • Generate and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, growth, diversity, and new joiners
  • Adhere to risk management protocols, monitoring data for potential threats and ensuring compliance with governance standards.

Mandatory Skills

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational environment, with at least 3-4 years dedicated to MIS reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop innovative, business-focused solutions 
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of using MS Office apps such as, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and any other applications such as Power BI, SQL, etc. is preferred. 
  • Preferred background in Operations/HR Analytics, with a solid understanding of HR processes and data frameworks

  • Experience in partnering with senior stakeholders and managing various stakeholder groups effectively. 
  • Relationship management skills – display sensitivity to organizational dynamics and cultivate relationships across functions in-order-to drive results. 
  • Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations 
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to adapt communication upwards and downwards for appropriate levels of detail 
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge to achieve productive solutions for complex business problems. 
  • Track quality of deliverables and suggest enhancements

Education Background

  • Bachelor/PG/MBA (from a reputed and recognized institute)
  • Power BI and SQL (Preferred but not mandatory)
