Job Description

Have you just majored in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science and have deep interest in engineering topics? Looking to get practical experience in industry and apply your knowledge in practice? Then we have a great opportunity for you in our Global Corporate Construction function in Target Market Sealing & Bonding.

For 12 months you will have opportunity to work in multinational team of Product Engineers and Product Managers supporting them in various projects and collaborating with colleagues from different functions and locations. See main tasks below and apply if interested!

  • Technical Documentation Management: Harmonize, further develop and speed-up technical documentation creation (including 3rd party certification) for all application fields to enable faster time to market
  • Product Management: Create or update articles and labels, coordinate with sales organization, supply chain, procurement, operations, etc.
  • Digital Platform Management: redesign our internal digital platform (including Sealing & Bonding Wiki)  to enhance information accessibility for our sales organization in order to drive organic growth
  • Support the launch of new product lines within our key initiatives for retail, trade and e-commerce to drive profitable organic growth of Target Market Sealing & Bonding

What to expect in your first 6 months

Month 1-2

  • Get familiar with company structure, products, applications, documentation tools, digital platforms
  • Shadow team members to understand daily workflows, internal processes and required technical documentations (incl. 3rd party certifications)
  • Learn the process for creating/updating articles and labels
  • Join onboarding sessions related to new product lines and learn how new products are created and product launches are structured

Month 3-4

  • Support the harmonization and development of technical documentations for all application fields to enable faster time to market 
  • Independently manage article or label updates and coordinate directly with key departments
  • Start working on redesign of internal digital platform (Product Wiki) and suggest improvements for better user experience or content structure
  • Support marketing and team members in product launches, learn how products are tested and test results interpreted

Month 5- onwards

  • Create a template library for technical documentation and develop new guidelines to ensure harmonization of technical documentation
  • Implement redesign of internal digital information platform and support release of external digital platforms
  • Finalize support materials for product launches and summarize challenges and learnings

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s Program or recently completed a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or material sciences
  • Fluent in English, any additional language is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a structured approach
  • Ability to prepare well-structured and comprehensible presentations and reports
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment

Additional Information

  • This position offers Hybrid working conditions and is subject to change at any time.
  • Candidate is required to work in the Zürich office 4 days per week with 1 day being remote.
  • This position does not offer Visa Sponsorship opportunities.
