Why this role

We want to connect our modeling and metrics layer to real business impact at scale. Speed, reliability, and performance matter, so you will help teams get to answers faster. You will report to the Head of Data and AI and work closely with Marketing, Product, and Finance.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain DBT models for analytics and BI consumption

  • Optimize and structure Snowflake for performance and scalability

  • Design and maintain transformation pipelines using modern ELT

  • Partner with stakeholders to turn business needs into well-designed datasets

  • Monitor data quality, lineage, and performance metrics

  • Share knowledge and improve analytics engineering practices

  • Collaborate on analysis when needed to close the loop from data to decisions

Your skills

  • Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer

  • Strong SQL and dimensional modeling with dbt (Cloud or Core)

  • Snowflake expertise, including performance tuning

  • AWS proficiency (S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch; Terraform/CDK a plus)

  • Comfortable with Git and CI/CD in a collaborative workflow

  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical partners

  • Tableau familiarity for consumption and collaboration

  • Able to perform analysis when needed

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with ML concepts and how modeled data serves ML use cases

  • Python for ELT or orchestration

  • Production experience operating Kubernetes clusters and deploying data/ML pipelines

  • Experience with data contracts and event tracking design

Our stack

  • DBT Cloud, Snowflake, Git-based workflows and CI/CD, AWS.

  • BI: Tableau.

  • Adjacent tools or equivalents are welcome if they solve the problem well.
