Project Finance Analyst (Remote)

Shift Schedule & Work Setup:

• Eastern Timezone (Night Shift in PH)

Job Summary:

This role will play a pivotal role in building and refining portfolio-level financial models, delivering on debt and tax-equity investor reporting requirements, and managing the client's operating portfolio of photovoltaic and battery storage assets. You'll collaborate closely with capital markets, project accounting, FP&A, regulatory, land and stakeholder management, customer success, and operations teams, among others. This individual will have the opportunity for future growth and development amongst a group of high achieving and fun professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance portfolio-level financial models to inform budgets and reforecasts.
• Produce project level budget to actual variance analysis and communicate findings to operational teams.
• Highlight and investigate underperformance and optimization opportunities of operating assets leading to actionable recommendations that drive improved results.
• Prepare reporting packages and various deliverables to investors and lenders.
• Work with operational teams to ensure delivery of key alerts and protect portfolios from operational risk.
• Build data infrastructure that enables team to isolate and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates, energy production, and other metrics.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in related field or relevant coursework preferred
• Creative mindset with proven analytical ability and attention to detail
• Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
• Experience in renewables, energy or infrastructure preferred, but not required.
• Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
• Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
• Experience working with large datasets, querying databases, and using ERPs such as NetSuite.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
