Oracle Finance Functional Lead

 

As an Oracle Finance Functional Lead, the person should possess extensive subject matter expertise Core Finance modules. 

The person should be able to work with the client, the offshore functional and technical team for EBS upgrade work. and complete end-to-end testing cycles using Oracle OUM.

 

Person should have extensive working experience in Functional SME with modules with at least 2 full cycle implementation with minimum one in R12 EBS upgrade is a must. He/she should have excellent skills in requirement gathering, analysis, solution designing, map/gap analysis, configuration, conducting training, conducting user testing, conducting the transition to Production, Support activities, Preparation of OUM/AIM methodology documentation. 

 

Experience

• 10+ years of overall technology experience, preferably in Oracle EBS technologies
• 6+ years of experience in managing complex large scale Oracle EBS implementation / Upgrade projects
• Have managed at least 2 large end-to-end upgrade projects, with teams composed of internal and external resources

 

Skills needed

• Hands-on and good understanding of Oracle Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, CE, FA, XLA, SLA)
• Candidate should have minimum two end to end Upgrade / implementation of Oracle Finance 
• Candidate should have hand on experience in Oracle finance cloud configurations, Data Conversions, testing covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, cash Management and expense management
• Ability to lead and articulate end-to-end business processes and the key integration  
• Candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Candidate should have excellent Team Management, Communication and customer interaction skills  
• Oracle Financials Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist Certification will be an added advantage
• Very good analytical skills to solve critical issue in Production instance
• Must have worked with Oracle Support and relevant teams for Sev-1 SRs
• Should have very good understanding of Functional / Technical Architecture of Oracle Apps.
• Manage the execution, documentation and timely approval of project deliverables, while controlling scope, executing the change management process as needed
