Senior Hardware Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join the Hardware and System Lab of Huawei Finland Research Center who will be responsible for the hardware design and realization, and hardware solution analysis. The candidate should have a fundamental understanding of hardware design, technologies and architecture, and system realization.

Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of hardware insights on selected areas, and propose innovative hardware solutions based on EU resources from startups, academy research
• Compare and evaluate the technical advantage of hardware solutions from different demo sources and make a conclusion, the evaluation shall be in-depth from fundamentals to other similar solutions
• Support to realize innovative demo solutions.

Qualifications:

• More than 5 years of working experience, preferably in mobile phones, smartwatches, and wearable devices design; experience in accomplishing whole product or prototype hardware design and release to market.
• Education and research, MSc or PhD, in hardware technology, for example, electrical engineering, signal processing, etc.
• Skillful in circuit design, signal integrity, baseband, and RF design
• Passion in technology and a great team player

Location: Ruoholahti, Helsinki, Finland. 

This is a full-time consultant position; candidate shall be employed by Huawei Supplier.
