NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST
Newmark is seeking a highly analytical, curious, and detail-oriented National Industrial Senior Research Analyst to join our industrial research team. This role, reporting to Head of North American Industrial Research, will play a critical part in supporting industrial market analysis, data quality initiatives, and thought leadership development while managing internal and external client requests and strategic project deliverables. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role that requires creative thinking, a strong work ethic, a fascination with industrial real estate trends, and partnership with top industrial producers.
Location-agnostic position requiring regular office presence; must be located in proximity to a U.S. Newmark office.
Specific areas of responsibility to include:
- Data Infrastructure and Quality Initiatives: Partner with data intelligence team to ensure accuracy and reliability of industrial market data sets and lead the buildout and management of key sector-specific data sets
- Project Management: Oversee project management for critical concurrent quarterly deliverables and collaborate cross-functionally on key platform data initiatives.
- Reporting & Thought Leadership: Collaborate on quarterly market reporting and contribute creatively to the development of thought leadership content and research publications.
- Client Support & Research: Respond to high-volume ad hoc research requests from internal teams and external clients to ensure consistent response times and client satisfaction.
- Client Engagement & Presentations: Support the Head of Industrial Research with strategic client needs and special projects, as well as develop and deliver select client-facing presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Finance or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years previous commercial real estate experience, concentration in industrial real estate preferred.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis and visualization tools. Familiarity with SQL, PowerBI, and Python skills a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal and presentation delivery.
- Self-starter who works independently and thinks proactively and strategically with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
