Job Title: Housing Registrations Officer
Salary: £29,253– £32,736 per annum
Grade: C
Contract Type: Fixed Term/Internal Secondment - 12 Months maternity cover
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated Housing Registrations Officer to join our Allocations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing housing applications in line with policy to ensure eligibility and housing need. You will provide clear advice and guidance to residents navigating the housing register.
Attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. The successful candidate will be confident in updating internal systems and handling sensitive casework with accuracy and care. Experience using Objective and NEC Housing Management Systems is desirable.
Due to the nature of this role, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of housing legislation, particularly in relation to our Allocations policy and eligibility criteria. This is a fast-paced environment that requires resilience, organisation, and solution-focused approach.
DBS Check: A Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
