3D Model Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- 3D Modeling: Create detailed 2D and 3D models using Rhinoceros and ShipManager Hull tools to support hull integrity and production planning.

- Collaboration: Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure designs meet technical specifications and align with overall project goals.

- Design Review: Validate models for accuracy, resolve design errors, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, specifications, and engineering change orders.

- Technical Support: Provide guidance and training to team members, and contribute to the development of design methodologies and standards.

- Compliance: Ensure all models adhere to relevant industry standards, including IACS Minimum Thickness requirements.

- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design challenges, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver solutions that meet client requirements.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs meet performance and quality standards throughout the development process.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in 3D modeling, preferably in shipbuilding or marine engineering.

- Proficiency in Rhinoceros production tools.

- Strong understanding of hull integrity and industry compliance standards.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Ability to manage documentation and maintain design records accurately.
