Job & Division Summary:

· Ingersoll Rand Technologies and Services has an opportunity for a Lab technician position to join the Engineering team.

· The chosen candidate will be in charge of executing the compressed air flow, noise and vibration testing validation activities for the compressed Air & vacuum portfolio.

Responsibilities

· Defining Testing strategy for Product Validation in line global business partner.

· Lab planning, defining the test method, executing testing, analyze.

· Work with engineering teams to review/refine product test requirements.

· Identify, develop additional processes and tools necessary to support a new product’s total testing.

· Keep track on the Purchase order of the lab operation for day-to-day requirement with local team and global stakeholder.

Mandatory Skills

· Must be minimum 2 Years of Hands on experience in the Performance the endurance testing & validation for Rotary machinery like Air compressor, blower, pump etc.

· Must have 1-year experience on troubleshooting of the electrical and instrumentation measurement system

· Must have 1-year experience with data acquisition system & lab view software or equivalent system and handle the data & prepare the report from that.

· Must have clear understand of lab operation, 5S, Calibration of instruments

Desired skills:

· Trouble shoot the root cause for any Deviation and communicate with Global stakeholder.

· Expertise on MS Office Tools like Excel, PPT, Word etc & fluent in communication.

Basic Qualifications

· 3+ years working Experience in the laboratory function with Essential skills set.

· Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
