1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field;
2. Familiarity with the language P
3. Demonstrated familiarity with optimization and applications to modeling and simulation
4. Demonstrated work involving autonomy architecture implementation and documentation
5. Demonstrated familiarity with Linux-based operating systems
6. Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
1. Master's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
2. Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) programming in algorithm level languages such as Matlab/Simulink, Python, C# or similar
3. Demonstrated experience performing research and technical work supporting DoD customers, including but not limited to AFRL
4. Research involving parallel distributed autonomy applications
5. Experience with using Linux shell scripting (bash, dash, ksh, etc.)
6. Demonstrated, effective interpersonal skills
