Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Leadership
- Own the solutioning process for major insurance transformation opportunities across APAC.
- Lead development of RFP/RFI responses, solution blueprints, proposals, and bid defense presentations.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to shape win strategies and competitive positioning.
- Guide solution pricing, effort estimation, and risk assessment for large and complex deals.
Client Engagement & Thought Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to client CXOs, engaging in consultative discussions on business challenges and digital transformation opportunities.
- Present and evangelize FPTs insurance offerings, accelerators, and case studies to prospects and partners.
- Participate in deal negotiations and executive presentations, ensuring solution credibility and client confidence.
Solution Strategy & Innovation
- Define and continuously refine FPTs Insurance Solution portfolio for APAC, covering:
- Core insurance systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, TCS BaNCS, etc.)
- Digital distribution & customer engagement platforms
- Claims, underwriting, and policy administration modernization
- Data, AI/ML, analytics, RPA, cloud-native modernization
- Partner with global product and CoE teams to develop reusable solution assets, frameworks, and accelerators for faster deal cycles.
Regional Collaboration
- Coordinate with country sales teams, delivery units, and domain SMEs to ensure alignment and scalability of solutions.
- Build strategic relationships with technology vendors, InsurTechs, and ecosystem partners to enhance solution offerings.
- Drive knowledge sharing and enablement across regional presales and solutioning teams.
Governance & Leadership
- Mentor and guide solution architects and consultants within the Insurance domain.
- Review and approve solution designs for major opportunities, ensuring technical soundness and commercial viability.
- Track pipeline, win/loss ratios, and deal quality metrics, reporting regularly to APAC leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT services, with 10+ years in Insurance technology and solutions.
- Proven success in leading pre-sales and solutioning for large-scale insurance transformation deals (USD 20M+ TCV).
- Strong exposure to APAC insurance markets (Life, Health, and General Insurance).
- Hands-on knowledge of insurance systems, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), digital platforms, APIs/microservices, AI/ML, RPA, data & analytics.
- Excellent executive presence, communication, and presentation skills for engaging CXO-level stakeholders.
- Proven track record in deal shaping, solution defense, and presales governance.
- Bachelors/Masters in IT, Engineering, or Business. MBA preferred.
