Description

The Assembly Technician specializes in measuring, installing, and testing diesel engine components.

Responsibilities:

Installation of diesel engine valves
Vacuum testing cylinder heads
Steaming and cleaning of parts as needed
Assist in packaging of finished products
Follow directions and standard safety procedures
Maintain a clean work environment
We provide complete training
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude
Work with hand tools. All tools are company provided.
Works with Micrometer and Caliper (We will train)
Eagerness to learn new things; we offer continuous training and development
Manual dexterity up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand throughout shift
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screening
Fosters good coworker citizenship in the workplace
Ability to work as an individual contributor while assisting co-workers as customer needs fluctuate
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Follow all safety policies
