Due to rapid expansion, Airnorth is looking for an additional Network Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for overseeing the real-time operational control of the Airnorth network, ensuring efficient and safe flight coordination. This role involves monitoring flight schedules, managing delays or disruptions, and optimizing aircraft and crew utilization. It helps maintain on-time performance and enhances the overall passenger experience.

This role operates afternoon/evening shifts with some flexibility required.

DAY OF OPERATIONS FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise “Day of Operations” when on duty by:

  • Monitor and manage real-time flight operations to ensure efficiency and safety.

  • Coordinate with pilots, ground staff, and aerodrome operators/staff to address operational issues.

  • Analyze and resolve disruptions such as delays, technical problems, and weather-related challenges.

  • Optimize aircraft and crew scheduling to maintain on-time performance.

  • Communicate operational changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and procedures.

  • Implement contingency plans during irregular operations or emergencies.

  • Maintain accurate records of flight operations and any incidents.

  • Collaborate with various departments to improve operational processes and efficiency.

  • Provide support and guidance to flight crews during in-flight and ground operations.

  • Maintain operational systems and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.

  • Comply with Airnorth Policies and Procedures at all times.

  • Ensure daily tasks and checklists are completed.

  • All other administrative or operational tasks as required.

  • Slot and Aerodrome Approval management.

  • Flight Schedule Efficiency management.

  • IROPS Management.

  • Supervise the Network Operations Controller to ensure financial, commercial, and operational interests are considered in decision-making.

  • Provide On Time Performance and Aircraft Data reporting on request

  • Participate in, on an annual basis, employee performance appraisals including assess, discuss and facilitate staff goal setting and training requirements.

  • Conduct Training and Assessment activities for members of the Network Operations Department

  • Maintain a register of training records for members of the Network Operations Department

  • Develop and implement new procedures and strategies for efficiency within Network Operations

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • FRMS and Aircrew Fatigue Legislation

  • Operational Systems, AIMS

  • Amadeus suite of systems

  • Disruption Management

  • Flight Planning Software

  • Cert IV Training and Assessment
