Why you'll want to be a Software Engineer in Test at PDQ:
Build software that IT pros love. PDQ is a fast-growing SaaS company with a fiercely loyal customer base. Our products manage millions of devices globally, and we’re trusted by tens of thousands of IT teams to deploy software, manage inventory, and remediate vulnerabilities—quickly and reliably.
Quality at the heart of everything. As a Software Engineer in Test, you'll help ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of PDQ’s Connect product. You’ll design, implement, and execute automated testing strategies across APIs, web interfaces, and backend systems to catch issues early and drive confidence in every release.
We’re scaling smart—and you have a voice. We’re growing sustainably, investing in our people, and building a long-term engineering culture. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and product managers to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
Local team. Global impact. We’re expanding in Romania to build a strong, collaborative engineering hub. You’ll work with smart, humble teammates in the U.S. and across Romania, shipping real features and solving tough problems in production environments.
Modern stack. Real testing challenges. Our tech includes Playwright, Grafana, groundcover and more. You’ll test distributed systems, work with containers and cloud-native architectures, and help us explore smart ways to incorporate AI into testing and quality analysis.
Real engineering. Real ownership. We keep processes lean, feedback direct, and overhead minimal. Our engineers are focused on shipping great code, mentoring each other, and continuously improving tools and systems.
Why Join? If you love building test automation, designing scalable quality practices, digging into tricky bugs, and collaborating across teams to make software better for real customers, join PDQ and help raise the bar for software quality while working with a modern tech stack and expert teammates.
