Position Summary

The HRBP acts as the trusted advisor and HR business partner to the Sub-region and Functional Leadership to define and deliver on the people agenda, which includes talent acquisition, development, organizational design & employee engagement initiatives. To work closely with the global HR functional teams, to ensure the achievement of global and regional business objectives.

This person will drive change by ensuring efficient & professional delivery of HR services through partnering with regional/country management & functional leaders to develop, communicate and coordinate the successful implementation of prioritized company and/or global HR initiatives that support the business strategies of FMC in these markets.

Workforce size: Approximately 100 including the manufacturing site Wyong

Working Model: Hybrid

Location: North Ryde, NSW, Australia

The Role

  • Partner with business leaders, relevant global HRBPs and AskHR / HR Operations team in APAC region to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Strategic HR leadership which will directly contribute to making an impact in the business performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Lead talent management initiatives including workforce planning, succession, and performance.
  • Research, develop, and implement new or updated HR offerings, policies and procedures by working closely with Head of HR APAC and global HR COEs, business and functional leaders and teams across ANZ.
  • Champion employee engagement and drive cultural transformation.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, compliance, and HR policies.
  • Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement, while making an impact to the
  • Analyze trends across each market to define action plans related to attraction, retention
  • and development of key talents in line with the global talent management framework.

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including as an HR Business Partner, in a dynamic team environment that value excellence and drive high standards. Experience working in a multinational organization is a plus.
  • Robust working knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations and business practices in ANZ.
  • Strengths in compensation and benefits, talent management, business partnering and performance management. Experience in organization design and change management would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrates confidence and courage to appropriately challenge assumptions, and ability to successfully manage competing priorities.
  • Infrequent travel in ANZ and the APAC region may be required.
