Primary Purpose:
TowneBank is a relationship and friendship driven local bank focused on basic human values that will serve to create a warm sense of belonging and financial well-being among our family of members. We are seeking a Treasury Services Quality Assurance Specialist I who will be responsible for reviewing Treasury Services documentation for implementations and updates to ensure all affected systems were updated corrected. Reviews should occur in a timely manner to ensure members are trained based on accurate data. Products reviewed include but not limited to Business Online Banking, ACH Origination, Wire Transfer Origination, Check & ACH Positive Pay, Check Positive Pay with Payee Match, Sweep products, Pricing for Services.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Review all Treasury Services implementation and maintenance forms entered into the appropriate systems for accuracy
- Report any errors back to Treasury Implementation, Treasury Support or Loan Accounting personnel so corrections can be entered
- Follow up to ensure corrections are accurate
- Track all errors discovered
- Work with Treasury Solutions Analyst on developing communication to Treasury Services Implementation and Support Manager
- Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Professional in both written and oral communications with employees and members
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure to meet work load expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to communicate with others professionally and tactfully, presenting information clearly and effectively.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Accurate and detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize using strong time management skills.
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in team environments with good interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Previous experience using TowneBank systems. i.e. Insight, ImageCentre
- Education or previous experience in Banking, Finance, or Audit
- Experience in the Treasury Services field
Physical Requirements:
- Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
- Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
