Veros Real Estate Solutions, LLC in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer to perform testing of multiple large, complex, and strategic software development applications using the company and industry defined testing practices and standards. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Information Technology principles and concepts to perform the following duties:

Job responsibilities and duties include:

Lead a team of QA engineers to design, execute, and manage test strategies, ensuring software quality meets project requirements.
Lead, coordinate, and track day-to-day activities by planning scope of work, setting deadlines, tracking deliverables, and answering QA team members' technical questions.
Educate and train the team to prioritize testing of important functions and features critical to software performance and/or customer impact.
Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify and review defects, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution by developers.
Provide regular QA metrics reports to stakeholders, highlighting test coverage, defects identified vs. defects leaked, and test execution status.
During the planning phase, identify the scope/deliverables, risk-based testing strategy, and present scope highlights to the team and stakeholders.
Plan, design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases ensuring thorough coverage and traceability to business and functional requirements.
Design, document, and implement procedures and techniques consistent with departmental Software Quality Assurance methodology for analyzing and testing risks, and evaluating
completeness, testability, and overall quality of business systems and SDLC processes.
Create automated test scripts using HP Quick Test Professional.
Assist in the growth of the QA department by contributing to quality policies, procedures, and test plans for Software Engineering.
Identify and analyze software quality risks.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computer Science, or any related computer or IT field of study plus at least seven (7) years of experience in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstratable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:

Two or more of the following programming languages: C#, SQL, or VBScript
Two or more of the following test automation and frameworks: Selenium, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE, Selenium Grid, Unified functional test (UFT)
One or more of the following databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Git and GitHub
Two or more of the following tools: SoapUI, Postman, TOAD, SQL Developer, or Jenkins
OAuth2
Two or more of the following web services: REST API, SOAP API
HTML and XML
Jira and Azure DevOps
Microsoft Office Suite
Waterfall and Agile
