This leadership role will leverage a wide spectrum of data to supply and advise key stakeholders across NBCUniversal’s brands, platforms and entertainment studios.  Reporting to the SVP of Advanced Content Analytics, you will influence content development, programming, forecasting, merchandising and key strategic decisions.  With a catalog-wide purview, you will lead a strong bi-coastal team and work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment synthesizing and building key analyses, data models and customized data products.  This role will have a tangible impact on Peacock’s growth and success into the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a source-of-truth for performance, merchandising and forecasting for all content on Peacock using a blend of descriptive & predictive analytics and utilizing a variety of datasets
  • Develop powerful viewing KPI insights and estimates using SQL, Python, gAI tools and advanced analytical methods
  • Identify and develop appropriate data solutions to advise key tactical and strategic decisions being made by various stakeholders (ie. Finance, Growth, Strategy, Studios) 
  • Lead our Peacock Content Forecasting team advising NBCU’s content strategy, planning and deal-making efforts
  • Lead our Content Merchandising Analytics team helping key operational leads to surface and exhibit our content to customers in an optimal manner
  • Spearhead Content Efficacy Analytics utilizing disparate datasets to build tools that can help NBCU optimize myriad content business efforts
  • Partner with Data Science and other teams to build and wield sophisticated data products that will help executives & operational teams track multifaceted performance dynamics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • 10+ years of data analysis, advanced analytical and storytelling experience
  • Ability to leverage SQL/Python to effectively query and analyze data
  • Knowledge of Tableau and other equivalent data-visualization tools
  • Ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical executives and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Video/TV/Streaming content enthusiast and conversant in their viewing preferences and behaviors
  • Proven success building and developing employees into star performers
  • Experience with various gAI models and tools
  • Experience using 3rd party data sets (e.g. Nielsen, Antenna, TalkWalker)
  • Team-oriented and collaborative with an aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong sense of curiosity, accountability, and ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision & purpose

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
